June TBR

First of all, can you believe it's already June?! I know I can't. This seems just crazy, the year is almost half over!

This time, I've decided to do things a bit differently. Because my usual TBR's don't work for me, I'm going to pick pairs of books, ones that sound different from each other and do this and/or style. I hope to read at least half of these books, but more than that would be awesome, too.

So, which of these books do you think I should read this month? (BTW, I'm really excited to see how this works for me!)

Some interesting looking books on here. I like the idea of pairing books together and deciding which to read (or both). I've not read a lot of these but I would recommend The Wrath & The Dawn, I really enjoyed it and it's such a strong retelling. And I'd also recommend Truthwitch, I loved the fact friendship is the driving force in that book. I'd definitely pick it over Reawakened, anyway. Reawakened was a book I liked the idea of more. Good luck with your reading.

Thanks! So far this has been kind of fun this month. I am definitely wanting to read The Wrath & the Dawn soon. It sounds great and I almost picked it instead of the book I'm currently reading (which wasn't even on my TBR!) but I didn't want something quite as romance heavy as I've heard that one is. Really hope to get to it this month though. That's exactly why I'm so interested in Truthwitch - well, and because it was originally advertised as similar in world building to Avatar: the Last Airbender and I love the idea of that type of 'magic'. Sorry to hear Rawakened really didn't work for you, but I know I will HAVE to read it because I love everything Egypt and every time I see a fiction book about it or borrowing from the mythology, I pretty much want to read it without knowing anything else. Of course, I've not heard anything good about this book, so my expectations are...low. Very low, in fact, but my hope is through the roof.
