March TBR

This month I'm doing things a bit different. Partially inspired by Misty at The Book Rat's 'The Next Five.'

What I've done is grabbed a handful of books that either interest me or that I feel I need to read. I think I've chosen diverse enough books that, whatever my reading mood, I should do okay finding something that fits what I want to read.

Starbridge by A.C. Crispin

Whisper the Dead by Alyxandra Harvey

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

Voyage of the Shadowmoon by Sean McMullen

The Dreamer's Curse by Honor Raconteur

Radiance by Grace Draven

What are your reading plans for this month? Have you read any of these books?

I've only read City of Bones. Not too sure about the series. I hope you enjoy reading these!

Thanks! I've heard pretty mixed things about The Mortal Instruments series, but I am definitely curious enough to give City of Bones a shot.
Can't wait to see your thoughts on City of Bones! I think the story idea is pretty good - though, you know most of it from The Infernal Devices - but the characters are not the best. Clary gets super-annoying as the series progresses. Or maybe she was all along and I just failed to see it? IDK, I read those books a looong time ago. I haven't heard about the rest, but checked out the ones that seemed interesting and I added A Breath of Frost to my tbr, bc I LOVE witches. Hope you'll love all these novels! :)

Yeah, I really like the world building for The Infernal Devices - and honestly, I much prefer historical over contemporary, but I liked it enough to give City of Bones a go. Definitely curious to see what it's like. Looking back, I'm really surprised that I enjoyed The Infernal Devices as much as I did. Right now I'm not sure I would have bought City of Bones, but I've actually had it for over a year so I NEED to read it. Hope you enjoy A Breath of Frost! I thought the book was a lot of fun. I do love the historical mixed with magic stuff, so that was awesome. Thanks, Vera!
